SALTT Camp

Lakeworth, FL

During my whole 4 years of High school I have been a part of SALTT club , which is a club that focuses on the welfare and education of immigrant children in poverty stricken parts of Florida. In the year of my Sophomore year summer, I participated in a week long getaway camp that is run and planned by the same club members in our school. I was part of leading the 8 year old team group and I formed a bond with these kids at these camps unlike any other. It was a very beautiful experience which I have recommended everyone in the grades below to try out in my school.

Middle School Retreat Leader

In my sophomore year, I volunteered as a retreat leader in St. Agnes Church for a retreat for middle schoolers. In addition to planning the activities, I set up the decorations, gave talks and more. This was a good experience to lead younger kids and help them with their preparation towards High school.
